Like many of us, our first thought after seeing KISS for the first time, was something along the lines of "I want to do that." Well, it was no different for J. Ratt. Upon witnessing Gene Simmons prowling the stage in the dragon boots and breathing fire, he was hooked. He immediately began playing the bass. Along the way, he also discovered other influential artists such as Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath, and later, Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses. J. Ratt has also performed with Raising Cain, Tempal, Katana Mantra, and Sin City.
